Swedish version
Now we are releasing 15 tickets for this summer’s themed journey in the footsteps of Tycho Brahe. It will be something truly special, with three overnight stays in Sweden and Denmark, including visits and guided tours of fascinating historical sites and environments, as well as lectures primarily by Simon Shack and Patrik Holmqvist.
Tour leaders: Bétina Marcolin & Håkan Englund
Those who have previously registered their interest will have priority when purchasing tickets.
Here you can download a PDF with information about the historical background of our themed journey, and here you will find a promotional flyer.
Own car or carpooling?
If you do not have access to a car, we will help arrange a seat in a vehicle, and those traveling together can share travel costs. Please let us know when registering what applies to you—for example, if you can offer a seat in your car or if you need help finding one.
Meeting point on the first day:
As a participant, you can choose to meet at Malmö Central Station or go directly to the first destination of the trip, Knutstorp. We will ensure that all participants without their own car are accommodated in a vehicle and can travel to Knutstorp and continue with the group. It may also be possible to arrange carpooling from Gothenburg and Stockholm.
Two overnight stays in Landskrona, Sweden:
We will park our cars in Landskrona and will not need them again until we depart for Copenhagen on day 3.
Day two: cycling on Ven:
We take the ferry to Ven at 10:00, and after the day concludes with a festive dinner, we take the last ferry back at 20:55 to our accommodations in Landskrona.
One overnight stay in Roskilde or Faxe/Fakse Ladeplads, Denmark:
The themed journey’s only overnight stay in Denmark is most conveniently in central Roskilde. “Team Tychos,” including the tour leaders and speakers, will stay at Fakse Ladeplads, one hour south of Roskilde.
After the conclusion in Roskilde:
For those returning home directly from Roskilde without a car, there is a train option that will quickly (20–30 minutes) take you to Copenhagen for onward travel to Sweden.
